Like clockwork, never-ending computer and credit card issues plague the G.I.Joe club forcing the ordering of FSS 4.0 to be suspected to a later date. Said Club's Brian Savage:
We are temporarily suspending the order period for the GI Joe Collectors' Club FSS 4.0 until after BotCon, due to the implementation of the new credit card security protocols.
Unfortunately, the new protocols require that we do an update on our FSS server and software, and we need time to implement and test the new version. The timing is unfortunate, as we were unaware that the current software was not going to be compatible with the new protocols.
All of the existing orders are fine. All new orders will have an adequate order period when we turn the system back on, so no worries. We are also going to temporarily suspend the release of the figure images until we restart the order period.
Again, if you have already placed your order, it is fine, and you will not need to do anything when we restart. We also checked with the manufacturer and the extension of the order period will not affect the delivery date.
We will send out an email notice when we resume the order period. The upside is that the total order period will be longer than originally planned.
