Yes! I rarely drink pop or eat candy anymore, but tonight I gave myself a treat. wink.gif (That, and I'll burn off the fat and calories tonight when I go biking.)

Damn, you're lucky. I know my Target has them in the back but they aren't out on the floor yet. I'll keep checking though.

picked up Ripcord, Heavy Duty, Zartan, Breaker, and Viper Commando about 2 hours ago at the target near my house ....

(and that's the ghetto target, so you KNOW they're out in the suburban ones..)

interesting...
so far i don't have any issues really with the figures.

- the weapons hold fine in their hands, even breaker, who has the "fist hands' torch has

- the plastic isn't any flimsier than the 25th figures, or New Sculpt for that matter

- the weapons aren't over sized (just the missile firing ones)

- they look cool standing there,.. and playing...

- Hasbro learned their lesson: No "Action Poses" and the guns are NOT in their hands, just rubber banded to the arm or chest.

- Accelerator suit Rip-Cord is now my Cool breeze, and the helmet jaw opens up to reveal his face. Im buying anther one to customize a Robo joe

if I had to pick a gripe:

1) heavy duty is cross eyed, but I was told thats because Adibisi is cross eyed....

2) breaker IS kinda skinny (like a skinny guy wearing a Winter vest)

3) before you could just choose not to use the missile firing weapons, but these are itnergrated into the accessories (Heavy duty's big gun connects to his backpack via the ammo strip, breaker's laptop plugs in directly into his...)

4) Zartan has WAY too many knives (only one will fit into his backpack) but since theyre all Hibben designs, I can forgive that. but his backpack wont stay on...

I picked up the only ROC figure left on the shelf at my local target, which happened to be a Viper Commando. I haven't opened him up yet but he does look much better in person.

My Target didn't have any figs, but did have the Night raven, Cobra Gunship, and armored Hummer (whatever it's called.) The Night Raven is way too pricey at $40 considering I only want the figure. I passed on the gunship too, as I think a rotorless and wingless aircraft is stupid. I did buy the hummer though, and I actually like it. Early pics had me hating it, but in person, it looks pretty good.

Anyone buying extras of the vehicles and don't want the drivers/pilots? I'm not going to be buying many of the vehicles at all but would like to get the figures.

Hmm. That does look kind'a cool. I was originally going to pass on it, but maybe I'll pick it up when I find it.

Thanks to a contact at TRU, I have 4 figures on hold for me, which I can buy tomorrow morning. Apparently, TRU is a go for selling Joe stuff as of tomorrow.

Werecat, the Steel Crusher (Hummer) doesn't look Tonka-ish at all, which is what I was fearing. It has some cool features. The front spiked grill piece comes off. The headlights are molded in clear plastic. It has rubber tires. With the grill off, the missile launcher down, and the top cover slid back, it looks like a civilian Hummer, which makes for good Cobra undercover work. I may even buy another one of these if I see them on sale.

Thanks for the pics of the gunship. If I ever get it, I think I'll use it as a mini-sub.

It's too bad $25 won't buy a set of rotors these days. The thing was clearly sculpted to have one..........They probably put the kibosh on that when they realized they needed to clear out that space so you could actually put a figure in there. rolleyes.gif

Nice pics! I went to Target Yesterday and they had everything out. Every figure was there for the fisrt three waves I believe except the Ice Viper and Cobra Commander. Not bad at all after looking at them. Besides Thunder, I wish we still had the ARAH versions coming in though.
